A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 60904, DARLINGTON 1940, from a LNER V2 Class 2-6-2 No 4875 built at Darlington in April 1940, renumbered 904 in 1946 becoming BR 60904. At York by January 1948, its later sheds were Gateshead, Heaton and back to Gateshead from where it was withdrawn on 9 July 1964 and cut up at Swindon Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
