An agents plate, ORENSTEIN & KOPPEL/BERLIJN-AMSTERDAM-SOERABAYA. These plates were fitted when built showing O&K's agents' locations in the country to which the engine was delivered, often in place of a standard worksplate of the same shape. This plate is from a sugar estate engine in Java, probably a 70cm gauge 0-8-0T with Klein-Lindner articulation. Cast brass, 13¼"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
