A train staff for the section between Woodhall Spa and Horncastle, used for staff and ticket working, the cast brass triangular head inscribed GO TO HORNCASTLE / GO TO WOODHALL SPA, 5½"x4¾". The GNR branch from Woodhall Junction to Horncastle closed to passengers in 1954 and freight in 1971. It ran east from the Boston to Lincoln route. (Postage Band: C)
