A worksplate, GREAT CENTRAL RAILWAY, GORTON WORKS, 1922, from a D11/1 Director class 4-4-0 No 5510 named MONS after the First World War battle. Renumbered 2665 in 1946, it became BR 62665. Its BR sheds were Immingham, Trafford Park, Heaton Mersey, Northwich and Darnall from where it was withdrawn in May 1959 and cut up at Gorton Works. Cast brass, 10½"x6¾", the front repainted.
