A smokebox numberplate, 84020, from a BR Standard Class 2 2-6-2T built at Darlington and allocated new to Ashford in March 1957. Its later sheds were Stewarts Lane, Exmouth Junction and Llandudno Junction from where it was withdrawn in October 1964 and sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckow at North Blyth. The front repainted.
