A locomotive nameplate, COUNTY OF BERKS, from the GWR 1000 County Class 4-6-0 No 1002 built at Swindon in September 1945 and named in May 1947. Allocated new to Bristol Bath Road it then spent over seven years at Penzance and later at St Blazey, Laira, Didcot and Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in September 1963 and sold for scrap to Wards at Broughton Lane, Sheffield.
