A worksplate, YORKSHIRE ENGINE, 2823, 1961, from a standard gauge 300HP 0-4-0 diesel-hydraulic locomotive new to Richard Thomas & Baldwins Ltd, Ebbw Vale Works, Monmouthshire with the running number 121. Became part of the British Steel Corporation in 1970 and scrapped on site April 1975. Cast brass, 11"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
