A smokebox numberplate, 48084, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8084 built by Vulcan Foundry, Works No 4761, in 1937. Allocated to Normanton by 1948 and later Wakefield, Stourton and Royston from where it was withdrawn in March 1968 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Ex loco condition.
