A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN Ry Co DONCASTER WORKS, 1292, MAKERS, 1911, from a GNR N1 Class 0-6-2T No 1577 built in January 1911, becoming LNER 4577, renumbered 9457 in 1946, becoming BR 69457. Its BR sheds were Hornsea, Colwick, Ardsley, Bradford and Copley Hill from where it was withdrawn in April 1957 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 17½"x9½", unpolished, the back stamped 4577 in two places. (Postage Band: D)
