A smokebox numberplate, 3800, from a GWR 2800 Class 2-8-0 built at Swindon in December 1938. Allocated new to Pontypool Road, it spent almost all its BR days at Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn in August 1964 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
