A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY 4604, N.B. LOCO Co 1910, from a North British Railway Class S 0-6-0 No 489 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 22277, in 1919 , becoming LNER J37 Class No 9489, renumbered 4604 in 1946, becoming BR 64604. A long time Dunfermline engine from at least 1926, it was withdrawn from there in August 1962 and cut up at Inverurie Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
