A smokebox numberplate, 5800, from a GWR Collett 0-4-2T, the first of the 58XX series built at Swindon in January 1933 without auto gear unlike the 48XX, later 14XX, series which were all fitted with auto gear. It spent all its working life at Swindon from where it was withdrawn in July 1958 and cut up at the nearby Works. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
