A smokebox numberplate, 48495, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8495 built at Horwich in 1945. Its BR sheds were Westhouses, Cricklewood, Wellingborough, Hasland, Bolton and Buxton from where it was withdrawn in October 1967 and sold for scrap to Buttigiegs at Newport. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
