A worksplate, HAWTHORN LESLIE, 3706, 1926, from a LNER N2 Class 0-6-2T No 2677 which was renumbered 9583 in 1946, becoming BR 69583. Allocated new to Ardsley it moved in April 1929 to Kings Cross where it spent almost all its working life before spending a final couple of years at Grantham and New England from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 10"x6", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
