A worksplate, BB&CIR Co 1924, MAKERS AJMER, from a metre gauge Bombay, Baroda & Central India Railway Class G1 4-6-0. Ajmer was the Railway's own workshops and in 1924 they built only eleven G1s, a non-standard design unique to the BB&CIR. Cast iron 6¾"x4½", repainted. (Postage Band: B)
