A Potteries, Shrewsbury and North Wales Railway uniform button, nickel, 1" diameter. The Railway operated from 1866 to 1880 when it was closed on safety grounds by the Board of Trade. After three decades of abandonment, it was reopened as a light railway by the Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Railway. (Postage Band: B)
