Tenderplate, LMS, No 9178, 1934, from a LMS 4000 gallon tender coupled new with Class 5 4-6-0 (4)5084, a long time Stirling engine but withdrawn from Carstairs in November 1966 and sold for scrap to Motherwell Machinery & Scrap at Wishaw. Cast iron, 8"x5¾", ex loco condition.
