A smokebox numberplate, 90476, from a War Department Austerity 2-8-0 built to Ministry of Supply order by Vulcan Foundry, Works No 5077, in June 1944, WD No 78678. Loaned to the LNER in November 1946, it became their O7 Class No 3155, then BR 63155 in June 1948 and 90476 in November 1950. Its BR sheds were March, Colwick and Doncaster from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and sold for scrap to Cox & Danks of Wadsley Bridge. Repainted. (Postage Band: D)
