A GWR cabside numberplate, 6844, from a 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in October 1937 and named PENHYDD GRANGE after a monastic grange at Glyn Neath attached to Margam Abbey. It spent most of its BR days at Llanelly from where it was withdrawn in April 1964 and sold for scrap to Cohens at Kettering. Cast brass, the front repainted. (Postage Band: N/A)
