A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, GENERAL ELECTRIC, 27867, 1959, from a BR Class 21 No D6137 allocated new to Ipswich in December 1959, one of twenty of the class re-engined and reclassified as Class 29. Withdrawn from Eastfield in April 1971, it was cut up by BREL Glasgow in August 1972. Cast aluminium, 14"x6", the front repainted. The plate is accompanied by a wooden mount, should the buyer wish to use it. (Postage Band: C)
