A smokebox numberplate, 42316, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-4T No 2316 built at Derby in 1928, becoming BR 42316. New to Longsight on 14 March 1928, its later sheds included Shrewsbury, Carnforth LNW, Stockport, Stoke, Willesden, Crewe North, Warwick and Stockport from where it was withdrawn week ending 16 February 1963 and scrapped at Derby Works.
