A worksplate, HUNSLET ENGINE Co, 4974, 1955, from a 204HP standard gauge 0-6-0 diesel mechanical locomotive new to the National Coal Board at Avenue Carbonisation & Chemical Plant at Wingerworth, Derbyshire as AVENUE 3. Later became part of the NCB Coal Products Division and scrapped on site around 1985. Cast brass, 11½"x8", the front lightly cleaned. (Postage Band: B)
