A set of GWR plans, BRISTOL AND SOUTH WALES UNION RAILWAY, Two Chain Survey 1907, covering the route from Patchway and Stoke Gifford station to Patchway Tunnels, Pilning, to the north of the Severn Tunnel. It includes the branch from Pilning Junction to New Passage Pier and the pumping station branch. The plans are hand-coloured and exceptionally detailed, showing track layout, signals, boundary posts, buildings and recording all changes in land ownership. They are generally known as terrier maps. Cloth-backed, gilt titled leather covers, in matching slipcase, condition excellent other than minor wear from normal use. (Collect from Banbury Depot/Posted by Woodford Halse Office)
