A locomotive numberplate, 44, from a Manchester Ship Canal Railway standard gauge 0-6-0 short tank built by Hudswell Clarke & Co, Works No 775, in 1906 and named AUCKLAND. It was scrapped at the Railway's Mode Wheel workshops in October 1967. Cast brass, 15½"x9¼", the front repainted. (Postage Band: N/A)
