A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1944, GWR. Stanier LMS Class 8F 2-8-0s built to Railway Executive Committee order by the GWR at Swindon in 1944 were Nos 8427-62 which became BR 48427-62. Cast brass, 10½"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
