A direction sign, SOUTHERN RAILWAY, BIDEFORD STATION, (flangeless), from the Barnstaple Junction to Torrington route which closed in 1966. Enamel, 20"x15", restoration to chipping diagonally between lower centre and middle right, the reverse side poor. The station was unusual in not having totems or targets. This is the first enamel station sign we have seen from Bideford. (Dispatch by Mailboxes/Collect from Banbury Depot)
