A smokebox numberplate, 63908, from a Great Central Railway Class 8M 2-8-0 No 419 built at Gorton in September 1918. It became LNER Class O5 No 5419 and was rebuilt and re-classified to Class O4/1 in 1935. Renumbered 3908 in 1946, it became BR 63908. At Retford GC by January 1948, its later sheds were Langwith Junction, Immingham, Colwick, Mexborough and finally back to Retford GC from where it was withdrawn on 1 October 1963 and subsequently scrapped.
