Worksplate SENTINEL LOCO No 10014. From a standard gauge 4-wheel chain-drive diesel-hydraulic locomotive new in December 1959 to Dorman Long (Steel) Ltd, Britannia Works, Middlesbrough. Sold to Thos. W. Ward in early 1979 and resold in April that year to Thomas Hill (Rotherham) Ltd, Kilnhurst, Yorkshire. Rebuilt by them with Sentinel 10034 using parts from both locomotives. The rebuild was plated Sentinel 10034 and sold in September 1980 to Esso Petroleum for use at their Marseille Refinery, France. Cast brass, 5¼"x4", ex loco condition.
