A 45516 plaque formerly displayed at Crewe Works, relating to a Patriot naming ceremony and quoting the prayer offered by the Lord Bishop of St Albans on the occasion of the naming of (45516) THE BEDFORDSHIRE AND HERTFORDSHIRE REGIMENT at Bedford 31st June 1938. Engraved copper, 10½"x8½", on an oak mount, overall 15¼"x10¾". An unusual and unique item. (Postage Band: D)
