A worksplate, ENGLISH ELECTRIC/VULCAN FOUNDRY, 2693/D454, 1959, from a BR Class 40 No D237 new to Gateshead in October 1959, renumbered 40037 in February 1974, withdrawn from Thornaby in August 1981 and cut up at BREL Swindon in November 1983.
