A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1940 DERBY. Locos built at Derby in 1940 were Class 4F 0-6-0 Nos 4597-604 which became BR 44597-604, 0-6-0 diesel electric shunters Nos 7090-9 which became BR 12013-22 and a solitary Class 4 2-6-4T No 2653 which became BR 42653. Cast brass, 10¼"x6", cleaned and the front repainted, the year engraved. (Postage Band: B)
