A worksplate, ANDREW BARCLAY, 2083, 1940, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST new to the Royal Arsenal at Woolwich and named Roberts. Later transferred to the Royal Ordnance Factory at Chorley, Lancashire and in 1950 to the Royal Ordnance Factory at Glascoed, Monmouth. Sold in 1959 to A.R. Adams & Son dealers, of Newport, Mon. Adams hired it out extensively over the next eleven years to various National Coal Board collieries until it was finally scrapped around September 1970. Cast brass, 16¾"x11¾", in ex loco condition.
