A BR(Sc) totem sign, GRANTOWN-ON-SPEY WEST, (f/f), from the Aviemore to Forres route which closed in 1966, the original Highland Railway route to Inverness before the construction of the direct route via Carr Bridge. The station closed in 1966. Excellent colour and shine, a small chip and edge repair to the extreme right. (Postage Band: D)
