A smokebox numberplate 44803 from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 4803 built at Derby and allocated new to Normanton on 16 June 1944, moving to Belle Vue in May 1945 and, when that shed closed in April 1956, to Newton Heath from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 25 May 1968 and sold for scrap to Drapers at Hull.
