A locomotive nameplate, THE CLEVELAND, with its brass fox above, from a LNER D49 Hunt Class 4-4-0 No 269 built at Darlington in August 1932 and named after the foxhunt operating in the Saltburn and Stokesley areas. It was renumbered 2743 in 1946 and became BR 62743. Allocated to Hull Botanic Gardens by 1948, it moved north of the Border in January 1951 to Haymarket from where it was withdrawn in May 1960 and cut up at Darlington Works.
