A locomotive nameplate, ANTHONY MANOR, from the GWR Manor Class 4-6-0 No 7801, the second of the Class built at Swindon in January 1938. It was at St Philips Marsh by January 1948 and later Laira, Chester, Oswestry and Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Morriston on 8 September 1965. The plate is in ex loco condition. Note: GWR records place the actual Manor at St Anthony at the entrance to Falmouth Harbour.
