A worksplate, GNR(I), DUNDALK, 1920, from a 5ft 3ins gauge 4-4-0 rebuilt and superheated at Dundalk. The following engines received these rebuilt plates in 1920: Class PP No 70 Precursor, No 71 Bundoran and No 77 Achilles, all built by Beyer Peacock, and Class Q No 136 Minerva and No 131 Uranus (now preserved) both built by Neilson Reid, and were re-classified to PPs and Qs respectively. Cast brass, 8¼"x4½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
