A locomotive worksplate, LMS BUILT 1921, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, from a Pickersgill Caledonian Railway 72 Class 4-4-0 No 85 built by Armstrong Whitworth in April 1921, becoming LMS 14490 and BR 54490. It was at Aberdeen Ferryhill by January 1935 and spent its last twenty years at Carstairs from where it was withdrawn on 27 May 1960 and cut up at St. Rollox Works. Cast brass, 10¼"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
