A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 69796, GATESHEAD, 1908, from a NER Class A6 4-6-2T No 692 built at Gateshead, Works No 90, in March 1908. Withdrawn from Hull Botanic Gardens in March 1953, it was cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
