A worksplate, BRITISH RAILWAYS BUILT DERBY 1962, POWER EQUIPMENT BY BRUSH AND SULZER, from a Class 46 diesel D161 allocated new to Derby in March 1962, renumbered 46024 in January 1974, withdrawn from Laira in April 1978 and cut up by BREL, Derby in October 1978. Cast aluminium, 13"x6½", in ex loco condition with original paintwork and a Derby Works steel tag attached, 46024, when the loco was being overhauled. (Postage Band: C)
