A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1897, ST ROLLOX. This plate is most likely to be from a Caledonian Railway 92 Class 0-4-4T numbered 92-103, several of which survived into BR service numbered in the 551XX series. Cast brass, 10½"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
