A worksplate, AVONSIDE, 1740, 1916, from a 2ft gauge 0-4-0T named MR BUSS new to Sir J.L. Hulett & Son at Darnall Sugar Estate, Natal, South Africa where it saw service at the sugar plantations on the De Jagers Estate, Umhlali, which were under the control of Huletts. The tramways there closed in 1967. This loco was preserved and is plinthed at the Darnall Sugar Mill offices in Darnall just north of Stangar on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Cast brass, 10¾"x6½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
