A worksplate, DUCROO & BRAUNS, 163, 1928. This Dutch builder mostly provided steam engines for the Dutch East Indies plantation lines. Works no. 163 was an 80 h.p. 700mm gauge 0-4-4-0T built in 1928 for Palm Oil plantations in Sumatra, ending its life at the Dolok Ilir estate in the 1990s. Cast brass, 17½"x8½", the front repainted, a little scoring in places. (Postage Band: C)
