A worksplate, No 2161, DARLINGTON, 1951, from a (LMS) Class 2 2-6-0 No 46469 which spent most of its working life at Colchester until that shed closed towards the end of 1959, moving then to Parkeston and later Cambridge and March from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and cut up at Darlington Works. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: B)
