A nameplate, AUDLEY END, from a LNER B17 Sandringham Class 4-6-0 No 2806 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 23809, in December 1928 and named after the country house near Saffron Walden in Essex. Renumbered 1606 in 1946, it became BR 61606. Its only BR sheds were Stratford and Colchester from where it was withdrawn in September 1958 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, length 48½", the front repainted, mounted on a high quality wooden splasher, length 62½".
