A worksplate, No 2071, Doncaster 1950, from a (LMS) Class 4MT 2-6-0 No 43064 built at Doncaster in 1950. Allocated new to New England in November 1950 and later Spital Bridge, Boston, Colwick, Canklow and Langwith Junction from where it was withdrawn in June 1965 and sold for scrap to Wards at Beighton, Sheffield. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6½", the front lightly polished, the words Works Serial Number Plate, visible on the back. (Postage Band: C)
