A worksplate, YORKSHIRE ENGINE Co, 2481, 1950, from a standard gauge 0-4-0 diesel electric locomotive new to Steel Peech & Tozer at Rotherham as No 1 SHEFFIELD. Subsequently passed into preservation and currently stored at the Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust at Alma Street, Sheffield. Cast brass, 11"x6", the front lightly cleaned. (Postage Band: B)
