A works numberplate, No 62064, 1948, from a Peppercorn K1 Class 2-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26668, and which entered traffic at Darlington in January 1950. Its only other shed was Stockton before returning in 1958 to Darlington from where it was withdrawn in September 1965. Engraved brass, 12"x6½", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
