A GWR permissive block instrument, a unique design produced at the GWR's Reading signal works and used in the signal boxes at Birmingham Snow Hill station, a small crack at the corner of the glass, lower right, otherwise fine original condition with its GWR marked bulbs to illuminate the indicator and the flag swinging freely.
