A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 62701, DARLINGTON, 1927, from a LNER D49 Class 4-4-0 No 251 named DERBYSHIRE, renumbered 2701 in 1946, becoming BR 62701. Its BR sheds were Bridlington, Hull Botanic Gardens and Hull Dairycoates from where it was withdrawn in September 1959 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", cleaned but unpainted.
